Southfork Estates entered into an agreement with CM & M Management Company. The management company will provide administrative support to the board. The main duties include collection of dues, payment of bills, writing citations for CC & R violations, and providing the board monthly financial reports. CM & M is accountable to the HOA Board and serves at their direction.
Correspondence going forward will come from Kris Oâ€™Neal at CM & M Management Company, with the support of the HOA board.

At the annual Home Owner Association meeting on May 10th, the quorum that was in attendance gave the board permission to look into hiring a management company to manage the association. This decision was made as the association struggles to find new board members each year and awareness of an increased disregard by some homeowners to the responsibilities and obligations of living in Southfork estates.
The hiring of a management company does not eliminate the need for a HOA board. Southfork Estates would still maintain a board, and the board would work with the management company to make sure all homes are current in payment of dues and compliant with the CC&R’s. The board will work with the management company to authorize violation letter and requests for compliance to the CC&R’s. The board and management company will reinforce the fines fee schedule for non-compliance that was adopted in 2007 by the association.
There is no additional cost to the homeowners for this service. The cost of entering into a contract with this management company can be covered with existing fund in the account. The contract with CM&M Company starts July 1st and is renewable annually.
